Pennzoil High Mileage product information describes a formulation intended to help reduce oil consumption and leakage from seals in worn engines, while providing wear protection and helping control sludge and deposits. Its high-mileage designation refers to the engine’s accumulated mileage.
A high-mileage oil can be part of routine care, but persistent oil loss still deserves attention. Tell our team if you have been adding oil between changes or have noticed a change in your vehicle’s oil use.
Matching your engine
High mileage alone does not determine the correct oil grade or approval. We help check the engine’s requirements before selecting a product. If your vehicle requires full synthetic oil, review our Pennzoil Platinum and Ultra Platinum services with the team.
Included with your oil change
Your full-service visit includes up to five quarts of premium motor oil, a new oil filter, and a multi-point vehicle inspection. We also fill windshield washer fluid, check and adjust tire pressures as needed, and lubricate the chassis where applicable. Quantities above five quarts carry an additional charge.

We recommend our high-mileage synthetic blend oil change every 3,000 miles. Keep checking oil level as your vehicle manufacturer recommends, and bring any concerns about consumption to the team’s attention when you visit.
