Synthetic Blend
Dependable protection for everyday driving.
Synthetic blend combines conventional and synthetic base oils for everyday engine protection. Our team checks your vehicle’s required viscosity and specifications before recommending this option.
What makes a synthetic blend different
Pennzoil’s explanation of motor oil types describes synthetic blend as a combination of conventional and synthetic base oils. Compared with conventional oil, a blend can offer better resistance to oxidation and useful low-temperature properties. The exact formulation and grade determine its suitability for your engine.
Pennzoil’s blend product information also describes protection against wear, sludge, and deposits. Regular service remains important even when an oil is designed for more demanding driving.
Choosing the right option
Ask our team to check the viscosity and performance requirements listed for your vehicle. Some engines require full synthetic oil or a particular manufacturer approval. We can help you review our Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic option when that better matches the engine’s requirements.
Included with your oil change
Our full-service oil change includes up to five quarts of premium motor oil, a new oil filter, and a multi-point vehicle inspection. We fill windshield washer fluid, check and adjust tire pressures as needed, and lubricate the chassis where applicable. Oil quantities above five quarts carry an additional charge.
Recommended service timing
We recommend a synthetic blend oil change every 3,000 miles. Let our team know about your driving conditions and previous service so we can help you plan the next visit.
